This semester, every Thursday afternoon from 4:45 to 6:15 is a drawing class for 4-8 years old students. In this class, we learn symmetry drawing, and let children understand how many symmetries there are in different shapes through napkins. At the same time, let the children understand what symmetry is, and use the folding method of napkins to draw and explore to deepen their understanding.
.
After explaining the lesson, explore napkin painting, and finally start to paint today’s theme “fruit”. The students wondered why the napkins on the other side would be exactly the same if they painted on one side. They also observed color contrasts as the colors slowly bleed through the paper towels. Students use scissors to cut them out and paste them on white and colored paper according to their preferences. This is a good exercise for their fine motor and hand control skills.

OK, see you next time! Students who want to sign up for vacation art classes or the second semester, please contact me to enrol or inquire! Both of course are starting enrolment now.
