This week, the teacher designed a simpler and more interesting theme “Giraffe” based on the observation of the children’s abilities last week. First, let’s get to know each other. Because new students are joining, I also needs to get to know everyone more, and then the formal class will be begen. Let’s discuss and observe the characteristics, colors, patterns, etc. of real giraffes together. The teacher showed a photo of a giraffe on the whiteboard, and the children responded enthusiastically. Everyone was great.
.
After understanding the basic real giraffe, let’s take a look at the cartoon version, the cute version, and the artistic version of the giraffe. Observe the basic shapes of painting together, and wait until the children have a basic understanding. We began to draw formally. The teacher demonstrated first, and then the students began to use paper to scrape out the giraffe’s neck, and then used paintbrushes to draw the giraffe’s head and ears. Finally, I told the students that they should use a hair dryer to dry the painting quickly. During this process, some children wanted to try it, and the teacher asked them to experience it under the guidance of the teacher; some students did not like the experience, so the teacher helped them. During this process, children may lose the patience to wait, so the teacher suggested that we sing children’s songs together and wait for the painting to dry.
.
After the painting was dry, the children began to use graphic markers to draw textures and other creations on the giraffe.

Some of the children in the Saturday junior class knew each other and were in the same school. They all share the same hobbies and build memories together that belong to their childhood. They also met new children in the painting class. In addition to experiencing the enlightenment and fun of painting, they also gained friendships and built social skills.
