Welcome my students back to my classroom again. Saturday Junior Class 3-5 years old was 2:15-3:15 pm, children would learn about the separation of oil and water. That was, they could use oil pastels and watercolors to paint. Today’s theme was “Jellyfish”. When children used oil pastels for the first time, they thought they were crayons at first. After the teacher explained, they understood the difference between the two. Then the teacher showed them some pictures of real Jellyfish living in the ocean, and through the pictures they learned about the basic shape and composition of Jellyfish. Finally, the teacher demonstrated how to draw, and then the students began to create their paintings! Please take a time to see my little cuties’ artworks as below.
