Wow ~~~ Welcome to my watercolour painting lesson today. Our topic was “The Undersea World”. The age gap between the children who came to the painting class today was a bit big, the youngest was four years old and almost five years old, and the oldest was 12 years old, but they are all concentrated about their studies and quite talented. Everyone was learning painting from beginning.
First of all, we were all meeting each other for the first time, so we introduced each other and get to know each other before we started learning to painting. About the water painting, there were different materials we would used such as: watercolour marker pen, watercolour paste, watercolour liquid. As for the watercolour paper for painting, there was also particularity. Since the children popularised the knowledge on the watercolour supplies, and then enter the painting topic.
I asked the children what colour was in their impression of the sea? What sea animals were there? What sea plants? After that, everyone responded positively. Great job, applaud them ππ»ππ»ππ»! ! ! I then showed student demonstration pictures on the whiteboard, as well as cartoon pictures of marine animals and plants. The students began to create at the same time I taught the students how to use the amount of water with paints which could show different effect such as lighter or darker.
During this lesson, children understood what was watercolour painting as well as enhancing their creative skills, fine motor skills, colour recognise skills and more. Below’s what we did today, please take a look. Welcome to leave your feedback to me too.
