Next Tuesday is Valentine’s Day (February 14th)! Flowers are one of the representative gifts on Valentine’s Day, so I went to the flower shop and bought a bouquet of fresh pink roses for the students. In the class, let the children in the small group use their different senses to observe roses and then draw on the paper. They first looked at the flower heart, petals, branches and leaves through their eyes; then used their noses to smell the fragrance of flowers; at the end they touched the wrapping paper of the flowers and the petals and leaves with their small hands.
.
Then children analysed the topic and freely created a unique rose painting for my mother. At the same time, this time it was an acrylic painting, and it also taught children how to match colors or tones.
.
After they were done the painting, we still had time left before the class, the children would each have a rose, learned how to pack it, and gave it to Mommy as a Valentine’s Day gift after class. This class time was fast by learning, discussing, and handcrafting. See you in the next class!

The below were some photos in the class, please enjoy to have a look.
